I have an issue with G\L accounts.
When I run t-code FS10N (G\L account balance display) I see different amounts in the G\L cumulative balance.
In fact when I run FS10N for May: I display a cumulative balance. When I run FS10N for June I display the credit balance of May (with opposite sign) incremented of the Balance Carryforward.
Would you please help me?

Dear all,
I tried to activate Secure Network Communication in SAP GUI's Network tab of SAP system properties.
However if I activate check box as per below screenshot and I hit OK button once I get to that dialog box again my check box is not activated.
I assume I need to setup Secure Network Communication first in SAP system backend.
Can you suggest what are the step to configure in backend? Thanks,

I am lost with what you are trying to achieve. What do you mean by the statement below.
Is there any better way to handle this? client do not wants to APPROVE requests with SYSTEM entries but ready to handle requests with no role owner request.

I am sure that the PR has not PO, I did again the order in QAS
and when I detele the operation the PR is delete too without
PO.
After cost determination there is not an error. It is like the
system keeps this value in any table and It not can be deleted.
I have run OLI5N the value appears but after run the
transaction the value does not disappear from IW32.

Quick note - we didnt upgrade NWDI from 7.00 to &.7.4. We performed a new installation of NWDI 7.4 and then migrated the tracks.

We are facing two issues here -
First, We followed the Enabling SAP BI Authentication - Installation Guide (Windows) - SAP Library and make the necessary configuration for SAP BI authentication but after copying the files as per the guide, the node refused to start and throwing below errors in the log file -

Here are the steps we followed as per the guide.
1. Downloaded SBOP BI 4.1 installer from SAP software portal.
2. Install it and navigate to the installed folder to java/lib and copied the files.
3. Paste those files to %ESP_HOME%\libj\boe
4. Node failed to start while starting Cluster DB then Cluster node.

And Second, we are trying to start the Cockpit server as per the guide and succeed but when trying to navigate to the browser using cockpit url, 'system' drop down on the webpage did not show any item (while Cluster DB and Cluster node were running) and so could not get log on to the cockpit.
We are trying to configure the BI authentication and then manage Cluster configuration through Cockpit prospective.
Any thoughts on what is missing here?

For anyone interested, I found the issue:
It was the timezone. I had forgotten to add the configuration for the GMT timezone to the SAP system.
Additionally, if you would like to debug any issues that don't show on the log, you need to debug class:
This class is called when submitting a Safety Observation. On the create safety observation method, there's a chunk of logic that checks for error message and then checks:
if error_msg is not initial then return;
So you don't really know what error message you're getting unless you debug the method.

The app has been recompiled using CRVS, thus the error:
"Could not load file or assembly 'CrystalDecision.Windows.Forms, Version=13.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken-692fbea5521e1304'
What the error is saying is that the version 13 runtime has not been deployed to the tester's computer. You have three options there; MSI, MSM, ClickOnce. For now, I'd recommend the MSI. Direct link to the MSI is:

(Assuming you are still compiling as 32 bit.). The 64 bit MSI is here:

The HTTP method implemented by the service is: http://<SAPserver>:8000/sap/opu/odata/EHSMM01/LWM_SAFETY_OBSERVAT
When you configure the app, you need to set this up as your backend endpoint. You can also set this up as your HTTP authentication for your security profile.
You don't need to use the Gateway Management Cockpit. Just create an application with app ID:
com.sap.bsuite.erp.ehsm.safetyobserver
and use the above information for the backend and security profiles.
That's all!

I have done exactly what you recommended - just I do not understand what do you
mean by 'synchronize' in "enter valid user in the SLD landscape description box and synchronize it."
Otherwise, I did everything as you said - in point 6.1, the user j2ee_admin was set (do not ask me why :-) ), it was red, showing the 401 Unauthorized error. I have entered another user - solman_admin and it immediately became green. I have reexecuted the job, but it failed with the exactly same error message. In point 6.2, there is an 'Advanced' button. When I click it, a new window opens, at the top of which I see again HTTP status: 401 Unauthorized.
Furthermore, in this dialog box, under Status detail, there is the name of the job, as a link. When I click it, I am getting an error:

- you mentioned that you do not see any SAP related components. Are you saying that on the Linux OS there is no SAP Software ?
- you also mentioned that you can access other AWS instances via VPN but not this appliance. Could you double-check that the ports are opened ?
